Vitamin pills provide no health benefits and a waste of money, according to a recent scientific report. Researches claim those who take vitamins to ward off serious condition such as cancers or heart disease would be better off buying more fruit and vegetables.

The finding of the study by scientists at Oxford University was immediately criticized by the vitamin industry. The scientist found their level of risk owed more to other aspects of their lifestyles and the tablets had little effect.
