Looking
hot is the new cool and you know what we mean by hot looks – you need to wear colors
that are cool. In the concluding part on summer skincare.
For
make-up lovers, summer is just a season. It is as simple as a hint of
sheer-tinted moisturizer, a slick of lip colors and quick coat of mascara.
Viola! A fresh summery look is born. For others, it is an arduous routine. If
you thought summer keeps make-up at bay, think again. Summer time is treat
time. Okay, so you don’t want make-up sliding down your face on a humid day but
who said you have to wear all that foundation? Summer is all about going
natural. All you need to know is how to do it.
Heavy
make-up is a huge no-no as it can look harsh, and even loud, during the day.
While winter allow us the freedom of deft application of the perfect lip color,
lip line, foundation, eye shadow, mascara and the whole works, summer holds a
different lesson. Summer colors come in iridescent powder that shimmer, glisten
and glow if worn the right way. Make-up is not about merely decorating your
face. It is about newer techniques and newer textures that can treat any skin condition
moisturize and even cool your face.
Foundation
There
are many women who cannot stand even the lightest foundation as they find it
greasy and heavy. However, foundation plays a major role in make-up. It is the
beginning to any make-up look. It provides a clean canvas.
If
you have a formal party to attend in the night, never leave without foundation.
However for the morning, if you have good skin, you can skip foundation.
Foundation
during summer takes a back seat. If somebody has got a chemical peel. I will
definitely suggest a foundation because it protects from the sun. It is also
important to apply the right sun block. Skip the foundation, if possible and
opt for a tinted moisturizer and blend all over the face steering clear of the
hairline. Most often women falter not only with the color but with the amount
as well. They go overboard hoping to cover up imperfection and yet do exactly
the reverse. Switch to an oil-free formula during summer or dilute your
everyday foundation with an oil-free moisturizer. This lighter coating will aid
you when temperatures soar. However an oil-free formula may makes dry skin
drier. Always dust your face with a little loose powder. It sets the make-up
and prevents a greasy surface.
Lip
talk
Keep
lips moisturize and protected with a lip balm that has a high SPE consider
switching to a moisture-rich lipstick
Wear
colors which suit the skin tone, hair color, feature in general, and compliment
your clothes. If you have a brown skin tone, avoid a brown or purple lipstick
like plague.
Do
not wear a lip liner that is too wide.
